A handcrafted pen is truly a work of art!

Below you will see the basic steps involved in creating Baywriter Pens

1.  Selected wood is cut into “blanks”

2. Blanks are cut to length, drilled out, and then brass tubes inserted

3.  Blanks are turned to size on a lathe

4. Turned blanks are sanded until very smooth

5.  Sanded blanks are sealed and polished

6.  The pen is now ready to assemble using a pen press
